Selling with Us

  • Interested parties can consign lots to us to be included in our forthcoming auctions.
  • We sell all kinds of Numismatic, Para-numismatic and collectible material, including coins, medals, banknotes, tokens, books, memorabilia and ephemera, etc.
  • Such material can be delivered to our office in person or be sent by registered post at your cost, risk and effort for our evaluation and assessment.
  • Once we have received the items we assess them based on many criteria including condition, rarity, investment potential etc and offer you a realistic market value estimate.
  • If the estimate is acceptable to you, the Novatis Auction House will finalize the modalities of the consignment and issue you a receipt after which the material will be catalogued in the forthcoming auctions, subject to the Conditions of Sale as mentioned in the catalogue.
  • A catalogue is posted to you with a copy of your receipt given to you, reflecting which item in the catalogue is yours.
  • Consigned lots are then offered for sale in auction and the Consignee notified of the result.
  • Sold lots are accounted for and an invoice can either be collected from our office a week after the auction or can be mailed to the registered postal address, subject to the Conditions of Sale as mentioned in the catalogue.
  • Each sold lot is subject to a Sellers Commission and Service Tax.
  • Unsold lots are either returned to you or are reoffered in future auctions.
  • Payments are made 45 days after the conclusion of an auction, subject to the Conditions of Sale as mentioned in the catalogue.
